Superstar Rajinikanth's ''Kabali' released on July 22 and it is still successfully running in theaters after becoming a blockbuster. Now we have an exclusive information on when the next blockbuster material of Thalaivar will hit the screen.

As we all know, the indomitable Superstar's next mega release will be '2.0' the sequel to the 2010 blockbuster 'Enthiran' directed by Shankar. The shooting of the film started in December last year and the first look poster of the film will be released in November 2016. There will be almost one year gap between the commencement of the project and first look release.

Again there will be eleven months gap between the First look release and the film's theatrical release. Yes, reliable sources from Kollywood reveal that Lyca Productions, the producer of this mega budget sci-fi flick, have decided to release the film in October 2017 as a grand Deepavali treat. Diwali festival falls on 19th of October in 2017 which is Thursday.

We will however have to wait for the official confirmation of the release date. If this is true, it will be a certain thing that Diwali 2017 is going to be the most memorable Diwali for Thalaivar fans as well as Tamil film buffs.
