Superstar Rajinikanth and Shankar have teamed up for the third time to deliver the costliest ever Tamil film '2.0' which will be the sequel of the duo's blockbuster sci-fi flick 'Enthiran'.
The shooting of the film started in January and it has been progressing fast. Bollywood star Akshay Kumar is making his Tamil debut playing the lead villain in this gargantuan flick Funded by Lyca Productions on a whopping budget of Rs.350 crores.
Usually, Shankar films offer grand visual spectacles and wholesome entertainment with all ingredients required for a commercial entertainer. Especially the making of songs will be one of the biggest attractions in Shankar's films.
However. in '2.0' we hear from sources that the film will have only one song and more focus will be on action sequences.Oscar winner A.R.Rahman takes care of the musical score for the film.
If this information is true, it will be a little disappointment for fans but we can be assured that the visionary filmmaker will compensate with a worthy replacement in any form.
