After the blockbuster 'Kabali', the next release of Superstar Rajinikanth will be '2.0', the mega budget sci-fi flick directed by Shankar.

The Superstar has taken a long break from the shooting of the film since June 2016 as he visited USA for treatment and returned in July last and he is yet to join the '2.0' unit and has been undergoing rest. Shankar however, has been shooting the portions that do not require the involvement of the lead hero.

Now we learn from a reliable source that the next schedule of the shoot will begin from the third week of September and the Superstar will resume shooting for the film in this schedule.

So the Thalaivar will be back in action after a gap of three months. Lets keep our fingers crossed.
