Shankar’s ‘2.0’ which has Rajinikanth essaying the lead role is a much anticipated movie among fans since its announcement. While the movie release has seen several changes, the curiosity for the film’s teaser and trailer is on an ever high.

Recently reports surfaced on the web that the trailer of the much awaited movie will be released during the final match of the IPL. Fans, and CSK fans in particular were very much enthused about the idea. But here’s the update from the makers of the film: the trailer will not be releasing during the IPL final.

As of now,the film’s graphic works are going on full swing and it is expected that the film will hit the screens around August. No doubt that fans will be elated about two Rajini films releasing with only a brief gap between them, ‘Kaala’ and ‘2.0’. Watch this space for more updates.
