Rajinikanth's '2.0' Telugu theatrical rights sold out

Raju Mahalingam of Lyca Productions, who is producing '2.0' at a cost of more than Rs. 450 Cr, has sold out the Telugu theatrical rights to Global Cinema. The same has been revealed by the producer on Twitter. "2.0 - SOLD OUT for a Whopping Price !! AP and Telangana !!! Lyca Productions & Global Cinema partnership is a "History in the Making"!!!" he tweeted.
Global Cinemas is a consortium of some well-known distributors from Nizam territory. They have distributed blockbuster films such as 'Attarintiki Daredi' in the past.
The price at which the company has bought the rights of the Shankar film hasn't been revealed.
Meanwhile, Lyca is bracing to release the Tamil version of 'SPYder' in a big way.
