Rajinikanth's legions of fans till a few hours ago were disappointed that they hadn't had even a glimpse of their icon for several weeks. Giving them relief were daughter Aishwarya's tweets and pics where Rajini is seen paying obeisance at Satchidananda Ashram in Virginia along with his daughter. Rajini was there at the ashram, which is known for honoring all faiths/religions. In her tweet, Aishwarya has described the Sunday outing as "Blessed Sunday". Given Rajini's spiritual orientation, he visiting an ashram on recovery is not surprising.

The Superstar has been in the US for an advanced treatment. The family members have kept the illness under the wraps over the weeks.

Rajini is expected to arrive in India two days before the release of Kabali on July 22. The actor seems to be staying back in the US during the recuperation.
