Gandhiya Makkal Katchi (GMK) president Tamizharuvi Maniyan, who has been acting literally as the ‘political advisor’ to Tamil superstar Rajinikanth, has revealed that Rajini would be making public the details of his proposed political outfit on the last day of the year i.e. on 31st December (next Sunday).

Maniyan met Rajini yesterday at the latter’s Poes Garden residence in Chennai and held discussions for more than an hour. His meeting assumes significance in view of the 6-day long meeting Rajini has planned with the office-bearers of his fans’ clubs in Chennai from 26-31 December (next week). “Rajini would make public his entry in to the world of politics on 31st December,” asserts Maniyan.

“My meeting with Rajini was a casual one. As already informed, Rajini would himself come forward sometime next week with the details of his political entry during or after his meeting with his fans from 26-31 December,” Maniyan said and added that he can’t reveal any advance information in this regard. He, however, hinted that the announcement might be made mostly on the last day of the year.

Maniyan is said to have been ‘contracted’ by Rajini as his political adviser due to which the former is keeping mum. It may be recalled that it was in May this year that Rajini first revealed the details of his political aspirations during a casual chat with Maniyan.
