There can be no good news than this for Rajinikanth fans all over the world. Sources indicate that the Superstar, who is under rest in Singapore after undergoing treatment for kidney ailment, is set for a return to Chennai on Wednesday.

Sources said tickets had been blocked for Rajinikanth and his family members in an international carrier for Wednesday. Though there is no official confirmation from the top actor's family, his fans are planning a grand reception.

"A couple of days ago, Aishwarya Dhanush left for Singapore to bring her father along with her. Dhanush may also go to Singapore to accompany the Superstar and wife Latha on their return", say sources.

Once Rajini is back, he is expected to resume the shooting for his latest, period film 'Rana', in which Bollywood bombshell Deepika Padukone will be cast opposite him. "Director K S Ravikumar is busy with works related to the project", sources add.
