IndiaGlitz has already reported an Exclusive about how Pa. Ranjith has brought out the actor rather than star in Rajinikanth. The director has said that he has tried to modulate the Superstar's walking style, dialogue delivery and even the nature of dialogues in this film. So, Kabali won't be telling how women should behave, he won't be pointing a finger at the sky and suggest the ball is in God's court, so on and so forth.

In an interview to a national daily, Ranjith has shared an anecdote. During the shoot, Rajini said to the director that he is not an actor and so, the latter shouldn't try to make him do certain things. To this, the three-time director confidently replied to Rajini saying, "You are a great actor, sir. But you don't realize it".

The crazy project is set to hit the screens on July 22. Going by the director's statements, we are going to see a new Rajini (the template the director was inspired to use was from 'Mullum Malarum', Rajini's '80s era Tamil film) in Kabali.
