The shooting of Rajinikanth’s much-awaited movie Petta has been wrapped up and the movie is all set to release this Pongal. The teaser was released on Rajini’s birthday, while the trailer is speculated to be released on New Years’ Day.
We recently received information from sources that stated that the movie deals with the concept of honor-killing, which has caused several taboos across various parts of Tamil Nadu. Even though this hasn’t been officially confirmed, the trailer might help us get an idea of the same.
Also starring Vijay Sethupathi, Trisha, Simran, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and others, the movie is directed by Karthik Subbaraj, and Anirudh has composed the music.
