Rajini's next not with Shankar

There was a buzz a few days ago, that Superstar Rajinikanth's next movie will be with director Shankar and it will be produced by Lyca, which made Vijay's 'Kaththi'. However, it has turned out to be a rumour.
According to sources close to both the Superstar and the 'mega' director, it was unlikely that they would come together for a movie in the near future.
It may be recalled that Rajini and Shankar gave us the two blockbuster movies- 'Sivaji The Boss' and 'Enthiran'. While the former's last film was 'Lingaa', the latter's recent release was 'I'.
