Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan are the two stalwarts of not only Tamil cinema but also doyens in the Indian film industry as well.  In their earlier days the duo have acted together in several movies with the last one being in Hindi language 'Geraaftar' that had Amitabh Bachchan in the lead.  We had already broken the news to you that Rajini and Kamal are reuniting on screen after thirty five years.  Read: Rajini and Kamal together in new movie after 35 years?

Now we have the information that the Rajinikanth's next movie 'Thalaivar 169' is firmed up and will be produced by Kamal's Raj Kamal Films International.  The launch event and pooja of the mega project will reportedly be held on March 5th 2020.  We have already reported from our reliable sources that Lokesh Kanagaraj is set to direct the film which will also have Kamal playing a cameo with Rajini.
