The importance Superstar Rajinikanth gives to friendship came to the fore once again, when the numero uno actor of south India made a stunning presence at the 60th birthday celebrations of popular Sandalwood actor Ambareesh.

According to sources, Rajini was one of the early birds to the event and he left the venue only after others. Speaking on the occasion, the Superstar recalled the days when he watched Ambareesh's films as a fan.

Rajini, heaping laurels on Ambareesh, said the actor has 'Krishnamsha', the ability to solve problems in the industry, and 'Bheemamshaa', the capacity to mentor everyone. He is a great actor and a great human being, said the Superstar.

And the highlight of the evening was that Rajini spoke in chaste Kannada, much to the surprise of everyone. The event was attended my top stars of Indian film industry, including Chiranjeevi from Tollywood and Shatrughan Sinha from Bollywood
