Lyca Productions have so far bankrolled the Vijay-ARM blockbuster 'Kaththi', 'Enakku Innoru Paer Irukku' and 'Yaman' and are behind such films like 'Ippadai Vellum', 'Sabaash Naidu' and India's costliest film '2.0' starring Supestar Rajinikanth and directed by Shankar.

The company head Raju Mahalingam has hinted that the multinational has decided to stop producing movies temporarily in India due to the exorbitant double taxation. After '2.0' the company had shown interest in producing Kamal Haasan's dream project 'Marudhanayagam' and also a Jiiva-Arya starrer to be directed by Jeeva Shankar.
