Six years after the release of late director Rajesh Pillai's movie Traffic, the movie's screenplay has now been included as part of Kannur University's BA Malayalam curriculum.

With the unanimous demand from students and teachers of the University, the chairman of UG board of studies decided to include the movie's screenplay as part of the sixth-semester subject Arangum Porulum for BA Malayalam students.

The screenplay will be taught from next week. The movie's scriptwriters Bobby and Sanjay have also agreed for a lecture at an event organized by the university campus soon.

This is indeed a fitting tribute to the late director who had passed away on February 27, 2016, due to liver-related ailments.
