Rajendra Prasad tries to do it differently

Appa Rao Driving School may be a bitter memory for Rajendra Prasad. The film has opened to a lukewarm response. And the unseemly incidents during the shoot did not exactly enhance the reputation of Rajendra Prasad.
But the actor, who has won a name for himself as a gritty comedy actor, has already put the past behind.
ÂAll my recent films were comedies. This one is in contrast to everything I have done so far. In fact I would say it is a milestone in my career, he says about his forthcoming fil Aa Naluguru in which he plays a burdened father.
He says the film will have funny moments. But it will not center around me. ÂThough this film is titled Aa Naluguru, it is not just about four people. It is a story about life itself. Life is such that often we do encounter problems. But it is the way we perceive the things that happen to us that counts. Do we see them as problems or as just part of life and deal with them," he recently said.
A touch philosophical. And coming as it does from Rajendra Prasad it is strange. But life is like that.
So does it mean we will not see him as comic hero anymore? "No," he says vehemently. "I want to keep trying different things. Aa Naluguru is an attempt at seriousness. But comedy is my forte. It is the most difficult genre among all. To make the audience laugh is a very difficult task".
Once a comedian, always a comedian, right?
