Speaking at an event of his upcoming movie 'Bewars', Rajendra Prasad was carried away when he talked about the "greatness" of a song in the movie. Written by Suddala Ashok Teja, it brings out the feelings of a father.
"When I listened to the song, I was so moved. Had the lyricist been elder to me, I would have touched his feet," the senior comedy actor said.
He then went on to talk about his personal life in a not-so-fair fashion. "I went to my home with the song recording and asked my daughter to listen to it. I haven't been on talking terms with her because she opted for a love marriage (many years ago)," Rajendra Prasad revealed.
Speaking to a Telugu daily, the 'Mahanati' actor has confessed that it was insensitive on his part to speak like that. His daughter has been upset with her father's speech. On his part, Rajendra Prasad suggested that he was swayed by emotions during the event.
'Bewars' will head to theatres on Oct 12.
