In a shocking incident reported from Rajasthan's Kota district, a 50-year-old man allegedly shared his mother's nude pictures in a family WhatsApp group in order to blackmail her over their ancestral property.

According to an official in the Dadabari police station, "The dispute over the property arose after the victim's husband died 20 days ago. The disputed house is located in Shivpura area under Dadabari police station limits." The 75-year-old mother of the accused, identified as Deepak, in her complaint to the police reportedly said, "I was performing a 'hawan' for my late husband when my son (accused) came and sprayed some substance on me. I started feeling itchy and rushed to the bathroom to take a bath." The man then shared the pictures with his relatives on WhatsApp, who then informed the woman about the same. The victim approached the police and registered a complaint. Deepak was subsequently arrested and remanded in judicial custody. "Deepak attempted to blackmail and defame his mother to pressurise her for handing over the ownership of the house to the accused," the police further added.

According to reports, The accused has been booked under sections 509 A, 509 B (outraging a woman's modesty) of the Indian Penal Code and section 67 of the IT act.
