Dr. Rajasekhar has met with an accident while shooting for 'Kalki', his upcoming periodic investigative thriller. He was shooting for a risky action sequence in Hyderabad under the aegis of fight master Rabin Subbu without a body double. It's learned that a heavy object hit him in the head, leaving a deep sprain.

Unfazed, the senior actor is continuing the shoot with a strong spirit. He has taken the cast and crew by a surprise by refusing to take rest. Rajasekhar, who made a strong comeback with last year's 'PSV Garuda Vega', didn't want the shoot to be halted.

Such injuries are not new to him. During the making of 'Magadu', one of the best movies of his career, Rajasekhar sustained a major ankle injury.

Currently being shot on an expensive set in Patancheru, 'Kalki' is directed by Prashant Varma of 'AWE!' fame. It stars Adah Sharma, Nandita Swetha and Scarlett Wilson as the female leads.
