Rajasekhar`s mother, Aandal Varadharajan, on Wednesday morning breathed her last in Hyderabad. She had been hospitalized for some days at the Apollo Hospital. Aged 82, the old woman was survived by her three sons and two daughters. Rajasekhar is her second child.

Varadharajan, the actor's father, was recently present at the 'Garuda Vega' teaser launch event, where he proudly spoke of how his son is his identity. It's sad that tragedy has struck the family in the passing away of the actor's mother ahead of the release of 'GV'.

The body's last rites will be held in Chennai. It's learned that Aandal`s body will be kept at Apollo Hospital till evening so that her dear ones can pay last respects.
