There are something you can never change in life. You can never stop Virender Sehwag to play slow. You can never get railway stations in India to be clean. And adding to this list of ‘never, you can add actor Rajasekhar too.

You can never stop him from making remakes. That is just on. He has made a career out of making remakes. His last release Nayakudu was a remake of the Malayalam hit Runway. His current production is Rajababu ---then again, a take off the Malayalam hit Balettan. He has also bought the rights for the Hindi Khaki.

His previous ventures Seshu (Sethu from Tamil), Aptudu (Ghatak from Hindi), Villain (Villain from Tamil), Simharasi (Mayi from Tamil) have all been remakes.

Now Rajasekhar has played true to type. He has bought the remake of Lion, a new movie in Malayalam.

Lion, directed by Joshi, stars Dileep and Kavya Madhavan. It is a political potboiler with all the right ingredients. To be sure, it has all the details to fit into a Telugu film format.

But Rajasekhar’s record at remakes is such that you can't be very sure.

But you have to hand it to the indefatigable actor for keeping on trying.
