Rajaratham
If the trailer is anything to go by, 'Rajaratham' is full of oddball flavour. An unusual hero (Nirup Bhandari as Abhi) who is not treated indulgently; a village-level don (Arya as Vishwa) who is a ruler unto himself; a nutty uncle (played by Ravishankar); and, the most mysterious of them all, the unseen Rana Daggubati who introduces himself as the Royal Chariot (the English translation of the title).
From the college campus to a village backdrop, the landscapes are varied. The actors seem to have got into the skin of their characters.
Directed by Anup Bhandari (who is also its music director) of 'Rangitharangi' (Kannada) fame, this Telugu-Kannada film has the dialogues by Abburi Ravi.
B Ajaneesh Loknath has composed the background score. Bosco-Caesar and Jani Master are the dance choreographers. Lyrics are by Ramajogayya Sastry. It has been produced by Anju Vallabhaneni, Vishu Dakappagari, Sathish Sastry and Ajay Reddy of Jollyhits.
