Though Vijayendra Prasad went to the floors to shoot Rajanna with a bound script, some later changes he wanted to bring to the script apparently delayed the shoot for good 4-6 weeks. If Film Nagar gossip circles are to be believed, the movie is going to release only in the month of December.

Rajanna, a historical period stars Nagarjuna and Sneha in the leads. Based on the life of the patriot Hanumanthu, who heroically fought the cruelties of the infamous Razakar rulers, the movie casts Nag in a fiery role. The film was expected to hit the theaters for Deepawali.

It was recently reported that the director, who asked his son (SS Rajamouli) to choreograph the action sequences, is planning to re-shoot some of the crucial scenes. Call it serendipity or refinement, it is true that Rajanna will be delayed further.
