Directed by Vijayendra Prasad and produced by Akkineni Nagarjuna on the banner of Annapurna Studios, 'Rajanna' with Nag and Sneha in the lead roles had completed its shooting some time ago.

The speciality of the film is that SS Rajamouli supervised the action scenes, songs and climax shooting. The film is based on the Telangana freedom struggle and it has high-voltage action scenes which require lots of technical post-production works.

The makers of the film earlier planned to release the film on September 30. However, it appears that the post-production works may not be complete by that time and hence the makers are thinking of postponing the release of the film to the second week of October.
