Rajanna
There is lot of intellectual stuff in Rajanna. Vijayendra Prasad's film has that inspiring tale of the anti-Razakar struggle waged by heroic Telanganites. There is more to it than just Rajanna's rebellious struggles. The film throws light on the complex social problems of caste conflicts in the society.
With Nagarjuna's look reminding us of the countless unsung guerrillas of many more oft-forgotten movements, Rajanna is bound to have us charged. The actress in Sneha (read Sri Ramadasu), will be an asset.
Based on the legend of Hanumanthu, this period drama is a mix of facts and fiction. Vijayendra Prasad's dream project had Nag saying yes in a jiffy.
If you ask us what should you watch out for in Rajanna, we would say that the film's genre and subject matter, all of which are expected to be true to themselves, should make you go for it. This brave attempt by the film makers is a rare one that needs the much-deserved pat on the back.
