One of the stalwarts of yesteryears music composers is Rajan Nagendra. The duo has given many hits in three decades of cinema music. After Nagendra passed seven years ago, Rajan indulged in Sapthaswaranjali Institute to educate youths in music. His intention was that music should be spread to society.

The first DVD from the Rajan Nagendra Trust is Daasagitamrutha`. It is a combination of Sri Purandaradasa and the Bhagavadgita shlokas. 12 Keerthanas of Sri Purandaradasa are tucked and the Bhagavadgita meaning is adjusted to such Keerthanas in this DVD.

Sri Veereshananda Saraswathi Swamiji on the Bhagavadgita, Iscon Varadakrishna Dasaprabhu, Holistic Spiritual healer Ramachandra Guruji have given meaning of Shlokas.

Top singers Sangeetha Katti Kulbarni, Rajesh Krishnan, Ajay Warior, Anuradha Bhat, Smitha Karthik, Srinivas Prasanna, Dr Chandrasekhar have lent their voice for 12 Keerthanas of Sri Purandaradasa.

Justice Mohan Shanagowder, Vidushi Shyamala Bhave, Rajan, Sangeetha Katti Kulkarni, Rajesh Krishnan, Smitha Karthik are taking part in the DVD release event at Taralabalu Center, RT Nagar.
