Rajamouli's 'Eega' wins National awards

Ace director Rajamouli's 'Eega', starring Nani and Samantha, has won the National award as the "Best regional film" in Telugu for the year 2012 in the 60th National film awards. It has also won the best special effects award.

The film which released in July 2012 has won the accolades of the critics and went on to become a big hit then. Rajamouli had been praised for his brilliant direction and the visual effects have excited the audience. The graphics for the film had been done by Makuta EFX.

The film has not only entertained the Telugu audience, but was also a big hit in Tamil.The film was made into Hindi as 'Makki'. Famous Kollywood and Bollywood personalities have praised Rajamouli then.
