SS Rajamuoli has a shocking new plan. It's to make a film, whose content will be driven from the Baahubali world, before the second and concluding edition hits the Marquee in April 2017. The film will be exclusively based on Virtual Reality technology. Just what inspired the celebrated director to go for this?

Recently at Cannes Film Festival where Baahubali was screened, Rajamouli reiterated his plan to make a film exclusively on VR platform. The director is in love with the scale and possibilities of the technology. The immersive feature gives the viewer a real experience, says Rajamouli

So the plan is to make a mini magnum opus with some of the characters from the franchise and give them a larger-than-life texture.

Let's see if Rajamouli completes this vision this year itself. The shoot will be done by the end of October.
