Rajamouli sir has loved ‘Loser 2’: Sashank

‘Loser 2’, the web series starring Priyadarshi, Sashank, Kalpika, Harshith Reddy and others, has been streaming on ZEE5 since January 21. The news is that ace director SS Rajamouli has watched the ZEE5 original and has appreciated it.

Revealing the news via Twitter, actor Sashank, who has played a physical education teacher in the series, wrote, “I thank Rajamouli sir for watching and appreciating the series and my performance. Honoured that he found the mannerisms and nuanced portrayal of the old Wilson impressive. Glad that he liked our series. The dressing room scene in the climax episode where Wilson motivates John to never give up is Rajamouli sir’s favourite. I am happy to hear that he thought it was inspiring and stirring.”

In our review, we said that the sports drama is thorough. “The directors have shown brilliance in etching the tale of underdogs and their insurmountable obstacles. A shining aspect of ‘Loser 2’ is that it holds a mirror to human mindsets. Inspiring scenes are exalting rather than looking affected,” our review stated.
