He may be the most sought after director in India now after directing 'Baahubali – The Beginning'. But Rajamouli doesn't hesitate to promote other films if he likes them. He praised Gunasekhar's 'Rudhramadevi' and the screen presence of Anushka.
The 'Eega' director took to his twitter handle and wrote : "Latest Hindi trailer from #Rudhramadevi is quite impressive. Sweety looks regal. What screen presence. The inside news is that 3D quality is Fantastic. Even though I want to watch in 2D everyone in family forced me to watch it in 3D. Guess I have to watch it twice..:)" (sic).
'Rudramadevi', which is India's first historical stereoscopic 3D film, will be released on 9th of this month. Anushka, Allu Arjun, Rana Daggubati, Krishnam Raju, Prakash Raj, Nithya Menen, Catherine Tresa, Baba Sehgal etc played important roles in this movie.
