The demise of V Doraswamy Raju has shocked the Telugu film industry. Jr NTR was among the first big names to mourn his death today, thanking him for helping 'Simhadri' become a big hit in 2003.

The likes of SS Rajamouli, too, have condoled Raju's death. "As a distributor, Doraswami Raju garu released incredible 1000+ movies. He also produced some of the great Telugu movies ever. Seetha Ramayya gari Manavaraalu, Annamayya are a few of the gems from his VMC banner.. I am fortunate to be associated with him for my career-changing 'Simhadri'... My heartfelt condolences to his family," the 'RRR' director tweeted.

Nani said that 'Seetharamayya Gari Manavaralu', produced by Raju, is his all-time favourite movie. "Thank you for all your contribution to Telugu cinema .. Rest in peace sir," the 'Jersey' and 'Tuck Jagadish' actor wrote.

Senior producer AM Ratnam, who is bankrolling a Pawan Kalyan movie, described Raju's death as a huge loss.
