Baahubali` has undoubtedly become the highest grossing Indian Film in history, having surpassed the magical Rs. 500 Crores from worldwide theatrical collections and still showing no signs of slowing down. Director S.S. Rajamouli has earned his position as the number one Indian Director.

It is said that when the project commenced, producer Shobu Yarlagadda offered a huge remuneration to Rajamouli and brought an advance amount of Rs. 5 Crores. But the passionate film maker refused the amount not wanting to lock a huge amount and instead asked them to pay him Rs. 5 Lakhs per month as he envisaged shooting days to go beyond the planned schedules.
