SS Rajamouli has quipped that 20-25 shooting days were squandered away because of the Jr NTR-Ram Charan duo during the making of 'RRR'. Speaking today to the media, the director began talking about the friendship between the two actors in a light-veined manner.

"I am not exaggerating. If 'RRR' was shot for 300 days, at least 20-25 days were wasted by the duo. Tarak would come to me saying that Charan had pinched him. When I ask him about it, Charan would deny it. That way, the joking around would go on and on for the next 15 minutes," Rajamouli said.

The 'Aravindha Sametha' actor added that he and Charan had been friends even before 'RRR' happened. The 'Acharya' actor, on his part, said that they share a sincere rapport.

'RRR', the director added in response to a question, is total fiction. "About 95% of the film is set in Delhi," he added. Rajamouli expressed hope that 'RRR' will trigger a bout of multi-starrers in Telugu cinema.

The film will hit the screens on 7 January 2021.
