SS Rajamoulil is going to complete the shoot of 'RRR' by the first week of August. It was officially revealed last week that the entire shoot is over with the exception of just two songs.
Speaking to Pinkvilla, Vijayendra Prasad (the film's story-writer and Rajamouli's father) has said that 'RRR' will be ready for a big release on October 13. He didn't say anything about the rumoured postponement of the Jr NTR-Ram Charan starrer.
Last week, the makers released a poster on which the release date was put up as October 13.
It seems there is no proposal from distributors from Hindi to shift the release date of the movie as of now even though the threat of the third wave of coronavirus looms large. It says something about the positive expectations in the exhibition sector. Since October 13 is months away, it seems the stakeholders are hoping that vaccination-induced immunity will make it a safe bet for everyone to flock to theatres. But if 100% occupancy in theatres is not restored, there is no question of 'RRR' hitting the screens.
Alia Bhatt is going to take part in the July schedule. Starring also Ajay Devgn, 'RRR' is a period drama.
