It's not often that Rajamouli praises a film. But when he does, it becomes news. And for the makers, they savour Rajamouli's accolades the most. The latest film to come in for his praise is Tharun Bhascker-directed Pelli Choopulu.

"Enjoyed Pelli Choopulu movie so much.. Still in the same mood remembering all the beautiful moments from the film. Writing, direction, performances, everything about the film is so engaging. Well done Tharun Bhaskar. That was a great first effort. Both Hero and Heroine are so refreshing to watch. And the friend is so so good. Of all, Rajamouli makes a mention of Tharun's name explicitly. It is something he will cherish for long. Producer Raj Kandukuri and others said that they are honoured by the director's praise.
