SS Rajamouli has featured in a public service campaign where he is seen learning about CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) from Dr. Murkherjee, a renowned cardiac surgeon. "CPR is an emergency lifesaving procedure performed when the heart stops beating. Immediate CPR can double or triple chances of survival after cardiac arrest," a portal dedicated to CPR says.

In the video, we see the 'RRR' director patiently learning about the life-saving technique. He first understands what the person saving the victim or patient needs to bear in mind. "We have to check whether the one saving is susceptible to electrocution or drowning in a given situation. The saviour has to check whether the victim/patient is responsible. Breathing and pulse have to be checked thereafter," Rajamouli says, reproducing what he has analyzed.

The awareness campaign is effective because it comes in a video format. A major celeb like Rajamouli adding weight to the campaign is admirable. During the 2020 pandemic, Rajamouli and his family promoted the cause of plasma donation.
