Rajamouli attributes success to Annie

  • IndiaGlitz, [Monday,December 26 2011]

SS Rajamouli, as also MM Keeravani, feel that the success of Rajanna is all thanks to Annie. The 10-year old actress was hailed to the skies by the director's son. What nobody expected him to say was that, Rajanna was not a team effort but Annie’s credit.

We attribute the success of a film to team effort. But for this film, Annie is the reason. She is going to become another Savithri and Suryakanthamma in her, Rajamouli said. Earlier in his speech, MM had said that Annie was the soul of Rajanna.

Rajamouli took the opportunity to pu the record straight. He said that there was no truth in the popular perception that the film was majorly helmed by him. I am proud and even jealous of my father. I learnt the ropes of filmmaking from him. I have directed only the action scenes, nothing else, he said. According to SS, the film is entirely Vijayendra's baby.

Sunil's Kolaveri Di in Poola Rangadu

Dhanush better watch out for Sunil. For, Sunil is someone who can imitate the Veena step of Megastar Chiranjeevi without outraging the latter's fans a bit. He is a perfectionist when it comes to spoofing. What is he parodying this time around? Kolaveri Di, the rage of the time, of course.
