It's known that SS Rajamouli's 'RRR' won the Best Foreign Language Film award at the Critics Choice Awards the other day. Netizens are loving the filmmaker's genuine and fervent speech on the occasion.
Receiving the award, the 'Baahubali' maker began his speech with the Telugu words 'Andariki Namaskaram'. He then said that he was thankful to the women in his life. He thanked his mother Raja Nandini for prodding him to read comics and storybooks when he was a teen. Reading those books surely shaped Rajamouli's imagination.
The 'Magadheera' maker described his wife, Rama Rajamouli, as the designer of his life. "She is a costume designer for my films. More than that, she is the designer of my life. But for her, I wouldn't be here," Rajamouli said.
The 'Eega' maker described his sister-in-law MM Srivalli as a motherly figure. Srivalli, as is known, is music director MM Keeravani's wife. The composer recently received the Golden Globe award for 'Naatu Naatu' in the Best Original Song category.
Netizens are also loving the way Rajamouli ended his speech by making a sincere salutation to India through the phrase 'Mera Bharat Mahaan'.
