The husband-wife folk singer duo Senthil Ganesh-Rajalakshmi went to the next level after participating in the Super Singer Show on Vijay TV. While Senthil Ganesh who was crowned the title winnner of season eight has already acted in a few films in which Rajalakshmi has also appeared in cameo roles.

Now Rajalakshmi is heading the cast of a female centric film 'License' and the team has unveiled the trailer. The little over two minutes clip shows that the film focusses on child abuse and a fiery teacher played by Rajalakshmi who fights for the right to use guns to protect women.

While the first look poster itself clearly drew comparisons between Rajalakshmi's look and that of Nayanthara's in 'Aramm', the trailer shows that the singer turned actress has also performed her role with confidence and authority.

'License' is written and directed by Ganapathy Balamurugan and is produced by Jeevanandham with Baiju Jacob scoring the music, Kasi Viswamanathan handlign the camaera and Veronika Prasadi incharge of the editing. The film starring Rajalakshmi, Radha Ravi, Abhi Nakshathra, Dhanya Ananya, Vijay Bharat, Ajay, Geetha Kailasam and Pazha Karuppiah is expected to release soon in theaters.
