Rajalakshmi Baraguru passed away

Prof Baraguru Ramachandrappa wife Smt Rajalakshmi breathed last on Sunday in Bengaluru. She was admitted to hospital for a long time and taking treatment for kidney failure.

Famous literary personality, Kannada films director of thought provoking subjects Prof Baraguru Ramachandrappa is dipped in emotions with the passing away of his wife. Smt Rajalakshmi stayed in ICU for fifty days the heart complaint further deteriorated situation.

As per the wish of Smt Rajalakshmi two of her eyes were donated. She was inspired from Dr Rajakumar to donate eyes ‘Nethradana Mahadaana’.

Hailing from Madhugiri Taluk of Tumakuru district Qualified in BA and Hindi Vidwan Smt Rajalakshmi married Prof Baraguru four decades ago. It was inter-caste marriage. Interested in literature from young age, she extended support to the rebel writer Prof Baraguru.

Smt Rajalakshmi leaves behind son Maithri and daughter Spoorthi, daughter in law Padmasri and grandson Akanksh.

The body of Smt Rajalakshmi will be placed at JP Nagar residence and cremated in Banashankeri crematorium on Monday afternoon.
