Actress Devayani's husband Rajakumaran is a popular director too. He has now taken a new avatar- that of a distributor- by procuring the release rights of 'Sabash Sariyana Potti' for the Kerala region.

Directed by noted television artiste Venu Aravind, 'Sabash Sariyana Potti' is a comedy caper with Jayaram in the lead role. The trailer and audio of the movie was launched in Chennai on Wednesday.

Speaking on the occasion, Rajakumaran said that he was thoroughly impressed with the movie and hence he was acquiring the distribution rights for Kerala for a sum of Rs 10 lakh.

The trailer was launched by Balu Mahendra and received by Devayani while celebrities, including Samuthirakani, Vetri Maaran, Devayani and Rajakumaran, expressed their views on songs in the movie, composed by Thaman.
