'Motta' Rajendran's important role in 'Vijay 59'

Rajendran made his acting debut as a menacing villain in director Bala`s National award winning film Naan Kadavul`. However fate had some other plans for this talented actor and he is now one of the most sought after comedians in Tamil film industry thanks to his performance in the films Raja Rani`, Ivanukku Thannila Gandam` and Sakalakalavallavan`.
As we had reported earlier Rajendran fondly called as Motta` Rajendran as he always sports bald looks in films has bagged a role in Ilayathalapathy Vijay`s 59th film directed by Atlee.whose debut film is Raja Rani`. Insiders reveal that the team approached comedy king Vadivelu for the lead comedian role in this film but he rejected the offer. Then Sathyan was considered for the role but the director roped in Rajendran.
Now sources who have access to the Vijay 59 shooting spot reveal that Vijay plays a Police Commissioner in the film and Rajendran plays the role of his official driver who would come along with the star in a large part of the film.and his role is also used to add humor content in the film.
The yet to be titled 59th film of Vijay stars Samantha, Amy Jackson, Radhika. Prabhu, veteran director J,Mahendran and many others. Music is being scored by G.V.Prakash Kumar. The film is being produced by Kalaipuli.S.Thanu.
