'Raja The Great' opened to a grand reception on Wednesday. This being a festive season, the solo release collected a share of Rs. 5 Cr in the Telugu States. In terms of gross, the collections are even more encouraging for a Ravi Teja movie.
With Vijay-starrer 'Adirindhi' not releasing even on Thursday, Dil Raju and his distributors can expect a bonanza again. If the Day 1 collections are anything to go by, Nizam is going to be a thumbs-up market.
In the Overseas, Tuesday's premieres were no less encouraging. "Telugu film #RajaTheGreat has a GOOD start in USA, despite midweek release [Tue]… Tue $ 129,579 [? 84.32 lakhs] from 95 locations," a trade analyst tweeted.
This is the producer's 5th release (and a potential hit) this year.
