Today is the birthday of young director Atlee who has achieved the top spot among young directors, with just two films.
After assisting director Shankar, Atlee made his directorial debut with the new age romance flick 'Raja Rani' which turned out to be a critically acclaimed super hit. The film reinstated the faith on life for everyone living with a failed love.
The young director waited for more than a year to team up with Ilayathalapathy Vijay and deliver one of the biggest blockbusters in the star's career. With 'Theri', Atlee proved that he is a filmmaker capable of capitalizing the mass image of a star like Vijay without loosing his special touch.
Penning powerful and meaningful dialogues is one of the biggest strengths of Atlee.
After the success of 'Theri', he will be teaming up again with Vijay after the latter completes 'Bairavaa'.
