In the industry for the past 15 years, Raja Goutham’s career has failed to take off. He was expected to end his dry spell with last year’s crowd-funded mystery drama Manu but its failure dashed the actor’s hopes once again. Nonetheless, the actor, son of celebrated actor Brahmanandam, seems to be determined to make it count.

We hear he has agreed to feature in short filmmaker Durga Prasad’s maiden feature, a family entertainer with revenge as its central theme. The actor and the director duo have been travelling with the script for the past six months, with reputed production house People Media Factory attached to bankroll it. The makers are planning to shoot it on a shoestring budget. An official announcement is around the corner.
