The much expected film from Ramu Enterprises Raj Vishnu` – carrying the names of two luminaries of Kannada cinema Dr Rajakumar and Dr Vishnuvardhana is a remake of Tamil film Rajani Murugan`.

For the script of original subject in Tamil, writer Janardhan Maharshi has brought several changes to suit the image of comedy hero Sharan and popular comedian Chikkanna.

In the film Raj Vishnu` the key protagonist is called as Raj by grandfather played by JK Srinivasamurthy while father character calls as Vishnu.

One of the lavish producers of Kannada cinema Ramu 37th film Raj Vishnu` starring Sharana nd Chikkanna in lead roles has been able to get nearly 300 theatres. This combination of Sharan and Chikkanna worked out tremendously in Adhyaksha` Kannada cinema. The hit pair of Adhyaksha` Sharan and Chikkanna are together in a full length film. It was Shivakarthikeyan and Soori in the original.

Pon Raj is original director and lent story for Adhyaksha` Kannada cinema of Sharan. He has made some changes to the original script. Janardhan Maharshi has written screenplay for the film.

K Madesh of quite a few commercial hits is director of this film. Arjun Janya music, Rajesh cinematography, KM Prakash editing, Thriller Manju, Vinod stunts, Yogaraj Bhat, Dr V Nagendra Prasad, Kaviraj lyrics, Raghu Niduvalli dialogue, Suresh Goswami assistance in direction are major credits of this film.

Mumbai lass Vaibhavi is female lead, Srinivasamurthy, Sadhu Kokila, Ravishanker, Veena Sunder, Ramesh Pandit, Mimicry Gopi, Swathi and others are in supporting cast.

Popular actor Srimurali plays a guest role in this film is an additional boon to the film
