The Belgaum boy Raj K Purohit in a negative shade in his debut Kannada film ‘Karthik’ with Milind Gunaji given a striking performance for his physique but the film did not get along in the box office.

The actor with high caliber Raj K Purohit has completed 70 percent of the shoot for Tamil movie ‘Kalyan Parissu’. It is a traditional family drama.

Raj K Purohit evinced interest in acting in his college days and went to Mumbai and joined the Nadira Babbar play in Prithvi Theatre in Juhu. Later he was seen in anchoring, television shows and television serials in Hindi. Raj Purohit acted in side roles with top actors like Nana Patekar, Ajay Devgun, Paresh Rawal, Shahid Kapoor besides acting in Bhojpuri, Gujarati language films.

Aanch, Dil Kya Kare, Shikar are some of his Hindi films.
