It's known that Raj Kundra, the husband of yesteryear Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty, was arrested on Monday by Mumbai Police's Crime Branch. The high-profile arrest was made in connection with a case allegedly pertaining to the 'creation of pornographic films and publishing them through some apps'.

Today, Kundra was set to police custody till July 23.

The police are drawing leads on the basis of Raj Kundra's WhatsApp chats with his alleged business partners. A national daily said that he and his partners have made financial gains to the tune of Rs 1.85 lakh from LIVE content. Besides, they made over Rs 4.50 lakh supplying content to certain mobile apps.

Their month to date (MTD) revenue has been estimated by a report at Rs 60 lakh.

DNA has quoted sources as saying that one Gehana Vasisth and Raj Kundra's manager Umesh Kamat made porn films produced by Kenrin Production House.
