Superstar Rajinikanth is quite busy with his professional commitments that include director Shankar`s 2.0` and also Kabali` directed by Pa.Ranjith. But the benevolent star has ensured that ample relief and rehabilitation support is being supplied to people affected by rain and flood-affected people in Chennai from his side.

First, he donated Rs.10 lakhs to the Chief Minister`s Public Relief Fund. Then his family arranged food packets and other relief materials to be supplied to rain affected people of Chennai.l His Raghavendra Kalayana Mandapam accommodated that conservancy workers flown in from other parts of the state to clean the rain ravaged Chennai and took care of their basic necessities. Relief materials were supplied to victims of floods in Chennai and its suburban localities from the marriage hall.

From today (December 28, 2015), the focus of rain relief works on behalf of Rajinikanth shits to Cuddalore, another district in TN that has been severely affected Rains. Essentials like blankets, bed-sheets, costumes, essential articles for women and children, bleaching powder, phenol and other goods have been sent to Cuddalore to be supplied to the people. These will be distributed to people by a team lead by the Superstar`s close friend Sudhakar from 8 am. This morning.
