Director A.R.Murgadoss after delivering a blockbuster I Kaththi` last year is currently directing a straight Bollywood flick. This film titled as Akira` has Superstar Rajinikanth`s Lingaa` heroine Sonakshi Sinha in the lead role. Murgadoss who is well known for his stories is for the first time directing a story written by some other director. Yes, the director has purchased the story rights of 2011 Tamil super hit thriller Mounaguru` and directing it in Hindi by changing the lead character as a female instead of male in the original.

Interestingly actress Rai Lakshmi making her Bollywood debut with by acting in this film, which is also her first with the veteran director. Sources said that she has been cast for a role which will bring about a twist in the story.

While speaking about this the tall beauty said "I always wanted to act in a Murugadoss films in Tamil but I am very happy to make my Bollywood entry with his film."

Asked how she looks forward to act with Sonakshi, the Aranmanai` actress said that she won`t be sharing screen space with the Dabaang` star. "Her character will enter only after my character`s exit in the film".

In Tamil, Rai Lakshmi is acting in Oru Ticketla Rendu Cinema` directed by Raghava Lawrence, horror flick Sowcarpet` with Srikanth and the Tamil remake of Malayalam super hit film Bangalore Days`.
